The Concorde Club was launched in 1957 in
Southampton by jazz aficionado Cole Mathieson,
a former jazz drummer, has an impressive list of
Jazz Stars who have played the Concorde Club,
such as Coleman Hawkins, Ben Webster, Buck
Clayton, Bud Freeman, Wild Bill Davison, Nat
Gonella, Vic Ash, Tubby Hayes, Kenny Baker,
plus the bands of Humphrey Lyttelton, Chris
Barber, Acker Bilk, Kenny Ball and Alex Welsh.

 

MAKING A SHOW OF DINNER
Offering atmospheric and stylish dining and a
view of the evening’s entertainment from the
comfort of your table. Get ready for an
unforgettable night out. Dining tickets,
including a 3 course meal with coffee, are
available with most of our events, which run
throughout the week - the perfect way to a
sense of occasion to your evening.

THE MOLDY FIG
Open for breakfast, brunch, morning coffee, lunch,
afternoon tea and dinner throughout the week. It
showcases gorgeous homemade food, fine wines,
local real ales and live music, a perfect choice for
drinks and dining. The picture adorned walls
capture the jazz heritage of The Concorde, and
the  musicians who have performed here.
