Renowned UK jazz vocalist and multi-award winner, Claire Martin OBE, reunites with her accomplished Swedish trio, led by the exceptional pianist and arranger Martin Sjöstedt, for their latest collaborative endeavor – ‘Almost in Your Arms’ (Stunt Records).
This marks their second collaboration, promising an extraordinary musical journey. The album features distinguished guest soloists, including English singer Charlie Wood in a captivating duet covering Tom Waits’ ‘This One’s from the Heart’. Joining this stellar lineup are American vibes virtuoso Joe Locke and Swedish saxophone ace Karl-Martin Almqvist, adding layers of depth and artistry.
